Just One Goal exists to ensure that every child—regardless of background—has the opportunity to experience the life-changing and transformative impact of soccer. Through financial scholarships, we remove barriers and open doors, helping young athletes grow not just as players, but as people.
Our Story
Sporting Iowa is more than a soccer club—it’s a family of coaches, players, and supporters united by trust, integrity, and character development. Our grassroots programs (4U-10U) begin with West Des Moines Soccer Club and Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club and funnel into Sporting Iowa through 19U.
In Honor of Karen Coaldrake
Our scholarship fund began as the Karen Coaldrake Financial Assistance Fund, created to honor Karen’s passion for ensuring no child was left on the sidelines. The new name—Just One Goal—carries forward her belief that a single opportunity can change a child’s future forever.
